This is a spectacular badge, related to the French Army. Made of a heavy white metal eagle and enameled cannon motif. Has an enameled Shield over crossed swords all surrounded with a floral wreath. All this mounted on an enameled roundel with "Studere" and a small "bie" just below the barrel of the cannon. Has a straight pin style attachment. It is hallmarked "Y.DELSARI".
