You are viewing a vintage CEF WWI era113th Battalion Collar badge and button lot. This battaion was also known as the "Lethbridge Hihglanders". Both lug type attachments are original and in good order. A very hard to find badge from the CEF era of the beginning of the 20th century. This badge is made of fine highly detailed copper using the stamping method. the button is made of brass and both are in good usable condition....
The battalion was raised in Southern Alberta, with headquarters in Lethbridge. The unit began recruiting during the winter of 1915/16 and sailed for England on September 27th,1916. The 113thbattalion, composed of 913 members,became part of the 17th Reserve Battalion already stationed in England...
