Above are the scans for a WWI 31st Battalion cap badge. This beautiful example is complete with bothearly tang style fasteners. An clean o/r copper badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. 


Formed in 1915. This battalion was raised in Calgary, Alberta. Sailed for England in May of 1915 and was part of the 6th infantry brigade 2nd Canadian Division. Served in France and Belgium. A well known Calgary battalion,under command of one Lt. Colonel A.H. Bell. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
