Above this note are the scans for a voided version of this WWI 146th Batallion cap badge. (Brass composition) This badge has a straight pin attchment denoting that the badge is officer grade or a sweetheart version. Formed in late 1915. This battalion was raised in Southeastern Ontario, with headquarters in Kingston. Sailed for England inSeptember of 1916, and was inserted to resupply the 12th Reserve Battalion. This beautiful example is complete with a functioning cross pin.  A clean hallmarked brass badge with nice age patina.  A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
