You are viewing a leather horse hair, 6 tassel, uniform sporran from the 48th Highlanders regiment, 15th Battalion CEF. This item and badge are of WWI vintage. The body of the sporran is made of black horse hair, with beige brass topped tassels, also horsehair. It has a full sized WWI battalion badge affixed under a circular brass top. The back has its pouch in leather, with a button type attachment for the cover; still quite functional and clean. The belt is made of leather as well. Very clean and serviceable uniform accoutrement.
