You are viewing a vintage 7th CEF Battalion Cap Badge CEF WWI. It has a #1 Britsh Columbia but it is the badge for the 7th CEF battalion. This battalion received its marching orders on August 6th 1914, and sailed for England on October 3rd of that year. One of the first to fight. It was raisd in BC but was mobilized out of ValCartier Quebec. They served in Ffrance and Belgium with the 2nd Infantry brigade of the 1st Canadian Division until the end of the war.


This one has both its original lug type back fasteners, complete and in good order. In excellent overall condition. A bi-metal overlay construction on browning brass. A clean badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age.   A rare beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
