Above are the scans for this Canadian WWI Collar devise for the 147th Battalion CEF. This browning copper badge is in excellent condition with both lugs original & in good order. They are of the early "flat" lug variety.

 The battalion was raised in Grey County, Ontario, with headquarters in Owen Sound They sailed for England on November 14th 1916, with a contingent of 942 Officers and enlisted ranks. Upon their arrival in England they became part of the 8th Reserve Battalion. .
