It is also hallmarked with a small brass plaque whihc appears to be "Hick & Sons London" The cap badge is in excellent condition for its age...


History:

The 10th CEF Battalion was raised in Calgary and Winnipeg in 1914. One of the Canadian peoples' early contributions to the efforts of the BEF as they sailed in 1914 for England. The Battalion was composed entirely of willing volunteers, among Canada's finest! A piece of living history of the early days of Canada in WW1.
