You are viewing a WWI Canadian 35th Battalion CEF collar badge. Made of browning brass. It has interesting patina. One original attachment lug remains. 


The Battalion was raised in Toronto in 1915. It was one of the larger units who served. There were 1146 officers and men who volunteered in this unit. They salied for England in the fall of 1915. When in England they were designated the 35th Reserve Battalion, and were eventually absorbed into the 4th Reserve battalion, and fought in France and Belgium throughout the war. Disbanded in 1920.
