You are viewing a vintage CEF WWI 217th Battalion Cap badge. The badge is made of copper, with both original horizontal lugs in good order. This is a copper badge in excellent condition with no chips or dents.


This battalion was raised in eastern Saskatchewan in the Moosomin area during July of 1916.The 217th embarked for England on June 2nd, 1917 and upon arrival became part of the 15th Reserve Battalion.
