Above this note are the scans for this WWI 140th Batallion collar badge. (Copper composition).This beautiful example is complete with both original welded stem lugs. A clean brass o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age.


Formed in late 1915. This battalion was raised in New Brunswick, with headquarters in St John. Sailed for England inSeptember of1916,and wasabsorbed into the R.C.R. and P.O.C.L.I. Depot battalions and the 13th Reserve Battalion.
