The scans above show a cap badge and collar set for the post 1968 Canadian Provost Corps (military police). Made of a brass base with intricate enameled design in very good condition with a tang fastener on this cap badge, and pin style attachments on the collar set. A clean original set of three, all in good order. The collars are hallmarked "William Scully, 2000". The cap badge is also hallmarked but I cannot make it out.
The Provost Corps, or the Canadian Military Police Corps was mostly populated by RCMP during WWI and WWII. They served overseas doing policing and espionage work among the Canadian contingent who were stationed in England and other parts of the world during WWII. In the 1968 reforms to the Canadian army the corps continued but with these more modern style enameled badges.
Guaranteed 100% genuine.
