You are viewing a vintage WW1 CEF 65th Battalion collar badge. This collar badge is made of copper, with both horizontal lugs, original and in good order. Hallmark is J.R. Inglis.

This battalion was formed in August of 1915. It was made up of volunteers from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with headquarters in Saskatoon. 1073 members of the 65th set sail for England on June 18th, 1916. Upon arrival the men were sent as replacements to the 44th, 46th, 51st, and 72nd batallions fighting in France.
