A matched set with both horse heads facingeach other.The North Saskatchewan Regiment which originated in Regina, Saskatchewan on 3 July 1905,It was the parent organization for the16/22 Saskatchewqan Horse. On 15 December 1936, it was amalgamated with The Saskatchewan Mounted Rifles and redesignated the 16th/22nd Saskatchewan Horse. It was redesignated the 16th/22nd Saskatchewan Horse (Reserve) on 7 November 1940 On 1 April 1941, the regiment was converted to infantry and redesignated the 2nd (Reserve) Battalion, 16th/22nd Saskatchewan Horse. It was redesignated the 2nd (Reserve) Battalion, The Battleford Light Infantry (16th/22nd Saskatchewan Horse) on 1 May 1941.They saw action during WW2. Guaranteed 100% genuine.
