Above are the scans for this WWI 106th Battalion cap badge. (Brass composition) Formed near the end of 1915. This battalion was raised in central Nova Scotia, with headquarters in Truro. Known as the "Nova Scotia Rifles". Sailed for England in July of 1916,and was used to resupply the 23rd Reserve Battalion. This beautiful example is complete with both lugs.A clean brass o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
