This is an interesting badge related to the French Army of post WWII. Made of enameled white metal or silver. Has an arrow below a parachute design with a sword and the number "1". Also has the letters "S.A.S." (reminds one of the prestigious British WWII SAS regiment. Is it related? You may know the facts ... tell us!)

The badge itself has two hoops for a straight pin (missing) style attachment. It also has a motto in French similar to the SAS motto "He who dares, wins". In French "Qui ose Gagne" Another "Daigo" -Paris made badge with the numbers "G463" . Don't know much more about it though???
