You are viewing a rare cap badge for the WWI 195th CEF Battalion. The badge is in very good condition with both original lug type fasteners intact and in good order. Made of browning copper, they are a hard to gather set, but now all in one place. Hallmarked near the top of the badge "...ees & co. 1916". Enjoy the scans.

The 195th CEF (City of Regina) Battalion, served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. Recruits were raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. They began the recruiting during the winter of 1915/16 with men from Regina and the surrounding district. The 195th sailed for England in November of 1916. Upon arrival, the 195th became part of the 32nd Reserve Battalion. Today the 195th Battalion is perpetuated by The Royal Regina Rifles, who added other battle honors to that regiment's proud history during WWII.
