You are viewing a rare WWI era CEF cap badge. The CEF 2nd Battalion Cap Badge shown is made of brass with a white metal overlay. The badge has very fine "patina" aging, and yet its design is still very crisp. It has both original welded lugs intact and in good order.


This battalion was raised in Edmonton AB. These volunteers sailed for England on June 15th 1915 and served in the trenches of France and Belgium with the 7th Infantry Brigade of the 3rd Canadian Division throughout the war ...
