You are viewing a WWII era Canadian Medical Corps collar badge. It is made of brass, both early style fasteners have been "clipped" for display purposes by a previous owner. Good condition, complete with no chipping or damage to the intricate design features.

Design is a King's Crown, with a caduceus, encircled by a wreath of maple leaves. Has the "Canadian Army Medical Corps" motif at the bottom of the badge. The "Royal" designation was only applied post WWI, and was ordered by King George V.
