Above you may view an excellent example of a QC era Canadian Guards cap badge, pre 1968 format. It is well made with an inset red plastic backing actually inside the badge construction. No risk of losing the little red felt insert on this badge. Has a tang type attachment original and in good order. Also original to this badge is a lug type attachment along with cross pin as found. Most likely made this way to allow the user to choose between wearing the badge with the tang, or alternatively using the lug attachment method as was preferred by most wearers. An interesting variation.
