You are viewing another pattern of this rare type of Canadian Army Airforce cap badge of 1920's vintage. Note how the wings of this specimen are connected to the crown. Comes with both original lug type attachments in good order, as well as a cross pin. A much sturdier construction than the other format. Has "CAA" over copper leaf. This beautiful badge, whose unique design bespeaks of the hopeful times during which it was made and was used briefly by the Canadian Air Force in its infancy, just after the end of WWI. Only used until 1924...
