You are viewing a Queen's crown modern era Canadian Army Cap badge for the Loyal Edmonton Regiment. Made of plated metal with original tang style
attachment in good order.
Mobilized in September of 1939, the "Loyal Eddies" were one of the first Canadian regiments to enter the frey. They met the
enemy in August of 1941 when they took part in the Spitsbergen expedition. In 1943 the regiment was re-designated the "Loyal Edmonton Regiment". A fine group of soldiers who served our
country well. This is a current era badge still used by the regiment today.
