You are viewing the scans for a WWI 80th Battalion collar badge. (Copper composition) Formed in 1915. Both original lugs intact and in good order. A clean brass o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.

This battalion was raised in Eastern Ontario, with headquarters in Barriefield. Sailed for England in May of 1916,and was used to resupply the 51st Infantry Battalion. This beautiful example is complete with both lugs.
