You are viewing a CEF WWI era Canadian 235th Battalion Cap badge. Made of brass, with lug type fasteners, both original and intact. Good condition, complete with no chipping, discoloration, or damage to the design features.

The 235th had its headquarters in eastern Ontario, at Belleville. It was formed up during the summer of 1916. They sailed off to England on May 3rd 1917. It was a smaller contingent of 451 officers and enlisted ranks. Upon their arrival in England this group was assigned to the 3rd Reserve Battalion, to replentitsh the ranks of troops in the field.
