You are viewing a vintage CEF 126th Battalion Collar badge set of two, from the WWI era. Made of copper, with all original lug type attachments in good order. Both with a high quality design with no chips or dents. Note the "PEEL" which appears on each of the badges indicating the county where the battalion was raised. Both have a partial "Inglis Toronto" hallmark. View scans for details.


This battalion was formed in Brant Ontario during the winter and spring of 1915-16 .This was a large battalion. 1006 members of the 126th sailed for England on August 9th 1916. Upon arrival they became part of the 8th Reserve Battalion supplying reinforcements to other battalions fighting in France.
