Above are the scans for a clean brass WWI 108th Battalion collar badge. It is of brass composition with both lugs original and intact. This collar badge also bares the unique rooster design which was the motif chosen for this battalion. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.

Formed in December of 1915. This battalion was raised in Manitoba, with headquarters in Selkirk. With a compliment of 875 officers and enlisted ranks, they sailed for England in September of 1916. Upon their arrival they became part of the 14th Canadian Reserve battalion, supplying reinforcements to the front lines.
