You are viewing an exceptional example of a rare pre WWI large brass badge for the naval aspect of the "Boys Brigade". This badge suggests that the wearer was related to a medical unit. Note the red cross behind the anchor in the badge design. There is also an unreadable hallmark at the bottom of the obverse of this badge. Both original lugs intact and in good order, with cross pin.
