A harder to find, pickled brass o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
Formed in 1916. This battalion was raised in Toronto, with headquarters in Toronto. Known as the "Toronto Light Infantry". Interestingly enough there were too few recruits to fill the quota for the battalion, and it was disbanded in Canada. The residual inlistees were transferred to the 170th and the 198th Infantry Battalions...
