This regiment was an armored regiment. Originally mobilized as the The Prince Albert & Battlefords Volunteers. Formed in May 1940, this regiment embarqued for Europe in June of 1943. After minimal service it was re-designated the "Battlefords Light Infantry" and was eventually disbanded toward the end of1943. The members were absorbed into other regiments...
