You are viewing a vintage WW2 Era Cap badge: The 16/22nd Saskatchewan Horse. Made of browning brass, with both original, welded stem, lug type attachments in good order. 

This regiment was an armored regiment. Originally mobilized as the The Prince Albert & Battlefords Volunteers. Formed in May 1940, this regiment embarqued for Europe in June of 1943. After minimal service it was re-designated the "Battlefords Light Infantry" and was eventually disbanded toward the end of1943. The members were absorbed into other regiments...
