You are viewing the scans for our rare WW1 era 1st Battalion cap badge. This specimen is still in very good condition as the scans will bear out. Comes with both original lugs in good order.
The members of this batallion were from Southwestern Ontario. They were headquartered at the Camp Valcartier, and began recruiting on August 6th 1914, at the outbreak of WWI. 1153 members of this batallion sailed for England on October 3rd , 1914. They served in France with the 1st Canadian Infantry brigade.
