You are about to view the scans of a rare CEF No.1 Canadian Construction Battalion collar badge. The No.1 Construction Battalion, worked in trench construction, roadways, and general building and site maintenance in WWI. This badge is of the "browning copper" variety, with real nice age patina. Both lugs original and intact.

The No.1 Construction Battalion, was responsible for tunneling, trench construction, roadways, train tracks and general building and site maintenance, on the battlefield, in WWI.
