This badge is made of fine highly detailed brass; made using the stamping method. Both lug type attachments are original and in good order. A very hard to find badge from the CEF era of the 20th century. ..This battalion came from the Montreal and Quebec area of Eastern Canada. The unit began recruiting during the winter of 1915/16 and sailed for England in December 1916. This battalion became part of the 23rd Reserve Battalion already stationed in England...
