This battalion was raised in Manitoba, with headquarters in Winnipeg,during thewinter of 1915.Thiswas alarger battalion, with1061 members. The101st sailed for England on June 29th, 1916. Upon arrival they became part of the 17th Reserve Battalion, supplying replacements at the front...
